I’ve always wanted to fall asleep in a rainy forest. Transparent tarp keeping me dry while I sway in my cotton hammock, listening to the cool raindrops shooting all around. The sweet smell of wet earth, occasional croaks, and shrieking birds coming in from every part of the forest. And that fear, fear of being spotted by a predator, eyes shining at you through the thicket. A very different world to romanticize.
Oh, what peaceful sleep it would be. Or so I imagine.
I’d love to wake up to a mist covering everything around me with a bear asleep under me.
